Dread or "watching yourself" before or during intimacy, instead of being present.

Sidestepping sex or closeness to avoid the anxiety which quietly widens the gap.

### Cognitive Behavioral Hypnotherapy (CBHT)

CBHT is our primary private-pay treatment for many sexual performance, confidence, intimacy, and behavioral concerns.
It combines cognitive-behavioral therapy with clinical hypnosis so treatment can work with thoughts, emotions,
automatic patterns, and behaviors together.

### EMDR Therapy

Best when trauma or distressing memories are contributing to the concern. EMDR helps the mind reprocess those

FAQ

## Frequently Asked Questions

### What is Cognitive Behavioral Hypnotherapy (CBHT)?

CBHT combines cognitive-behavioral therapeutic principles with clinical hypnosis. Depending on the client and treatment plan, the work may address thoughts, emotions, behaviors, imagery, learned associations, and automatic responses connected to the concern.

### Can therapy help sexual performance anxiety?

Therapy may help when anxiety, negative expectations, self-monitoring, shame, avoidance, relationship factors, or learned emotional responses are contributing to the problem. Your clinician will assess your individual situation before recommending treatment.

### Can therapy help erectile dysfunction?

Erectile dysfunction can have physical, psychological, medication-related, or mixed causes. Therapy can address psychological contributors such as performance anxiety, stress, negative expectations, relationship factors, and distressing experiences. It does not replace appropriate medical evaluation.

### What if I am dealing with premature or delayed ejaculation?

Ejaculatory concerns can involve anxiety, stress, learned patterns, medications, physical factors, and other variables. Assessment helps determine whether psychological or behavioral treatment may be useful and whether medical evaluation should also be considered.

### When would you recommend EMDR instead of CBHT?

EMDR may be recommended when trauma or specific distressing memories appear to be a meaningful driver of the current sexual or intimacy concern. The consultation and assessment determine which approach is the better fit.

### How much does CBHT cost?

CBHT is private pay at $250 per session. We will discuss the recommended treatment approach and financial details before you begin.

### Can EMDR be covered by insurance?

EMDR may be covered when it is clinically appropriate and the relevant clinician and services meet your plan's requirements. Benefits vary by insurance plan and coverage cannot be guaranteed.

### Will I lose control during hypnosis?

No. Clinical hypnosis is not mind control. You remain aware and able to communicate during the session. Your clinician will explain the process and obtain your participation throughout treatment.

### Is sex therapy confidential?

Therapy is private and confidential subject to the usual legal and ethical exceptions that apply to mental-health treatment. Your clinician can explain confidentiality and its limits before treatment.

### Can I attend online?

Revibe Therapy offers online sessions for eligible clients across Florida as well as in-person appointments in Winter Park and Lake Nona / Orlando.

### Do you offer therapy in Spanish?

Yes. Hablamos Español.
